G M Engineering (NW) Ltd install environmental protection technology mainly for our customers in the metal and stone-earth-cement industry, in the wood and wood based panel industry and the energy industry.
Our scope of services includes the mechanical and electrical installation of bag filters, electrostatic filters, condensation and absorption systems, extraction ductwork systems, DenoX units, flue gas cleaning units, pneumatic conveying systems, ventilators, sifting plants and evaporation coolers.

At G M Engineering (NW) Ltd all of our plant and machinery is maintained and serviced beyond that which is legally required to exemplary standards by our own service and maintenance engineers. We also have our very own fully equipped mobile service vehicles available to quickly respond to any mechanical problems which may arise.
Our erection teams are fully certified in line with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). We maintain a 100% CSCS card level for all site operatives. All site managers hold current Construction Site Manager Safety certification; all supervisors hold Construction Site Supervisor Safety certificates.
All erection work is serviced via MEWPs and all operatives of which are IPAF certified. MEWP and crane operators are also CPCS certified. Safety nets are only erected by FASET qualified safety net riggers. CPCS Slinger/Signaller qualifications are held for that operation.
The health and safety of our and your workforce is paramount to us. Our continual training and certification programmes ensure we have the right skills for the job. Our site personnel receive CITB safety awareness and trained site personnel refresher courses on a regular basis. Our safety record over the last four decades is excellent.
We understand that you need access to the site for following trades as soon as possible. For that reason we adopt a phased hand-over of steelwork; usually on a two-week basis. This allows following trades to progress with their operations and enables you to condense the construction programme.
G M Engineering (NW) Ltd staff has extensive experience in food and beverage plant and machinery moving and installation services, working for international and national breweries and food manufacturers throughout the UK, working on installations of food production machinery, production line installation/relocation and decommissioning and installing brewery production facilities.
Each client’s needs are individually assessed and a programme of works created to suit their needs with the minimum of disruption to production.
G M Engineering (NW) Ltd have handled the installation of various machinery and production lines ranging from offloading and positioning of milk silos in the UK to the relocation of a chocolate refiner from Germany to Switzerland.
We have experience working for brewers, food manufacturers, dairy producers and the installation / decommissioning relocation of brewery equipment and production lines.
